Progress Over Perfection

You know, many people do not start something they like because they will fail at it at first. They don’t like to fail, because that hurts their feelings. They feel insecure about themselves. They aim for something that is not even possible: perfection. They want to succeed at once. That is not going to happen, because it takes loads of effort and action to succeed. And succeeding does not mean perfection, it means working through the failures until you feel you mastered yourself and your skills. Aim for constant progress, not perfection. Focus on the next step, not the whole staircase.
